There’re 5 fun facts about Chanel N5 I’d like to share.
1. N5 is celebrating its 100 year this year, it was created in 1921 by Mademoiselle Chanel and a master perfumer, Ernest Beaux.
2. The diamond cut stopper’s inspired by the geometry of Place Vendôme.
3. N5 takes one tonne of flowers to distill 1.5kg of the perfume’s base.
4. Number 5’s named because out of the samples being presented, it’s the fifth sample Mademoiselle Chanel liked the most. 5’s also her lucky number.
5. Grasse Jasmine. The original flower chosen by Mademoiselle Chanel. This Chanel flower is cultivated for generations in the field of Chanel in Grasse.
